Service Technician Code of Conduct

Dress Code and Appearance:
Apparel: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians must wear the company-provided shirts/jackets while working. Service Technicians must be prepared to show identification indicating their affiliation with Barry Handy LLC.
 

Personal Appearance: Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians are expected to maintain a clean-cut and neat appearance at all times.
Shoe Covers: Service Technicians must wear the company-provided shoe covers whenever they are working inside a homeowner's house.

 

Worksite Cleanliness/Demeanor
Job Site Tarping: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians must cover and tarp all homeowner areas being worked on as needed. They will receive reimbursement for all tarping materials used on all job sites.

 

After-Work Cleaning and Cleaning Materials: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians shall carry a cleaning material box provided by the company and thoroughly clean the work area before leaving the job site.

Jobsite Demeanor

No Smoking or Vaping: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians to refrain from smoking or vaping in the home or on the property of any home they’re working on.

 

No Audible Music or Phone Activity: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians agree to refrain from playing music on-site or engaging in personal phone calls in a homeowner’s residence. Should the Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians choose to listen to music, it must be with personal earphones and not something that a homeowner can hear and that will disturb them in any way.

 

Polite Demeanor: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians agree to conduct themselves in a polite and respectful way at all times.

Policies

Photographic Records

Before and After Photos of every job: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians agree to take before and after photos and to forward them to Barry Handy staff with every job on the day that the work is started and completed.
 

Background Checks

Criminal Background Checks: All Barry Handy, Handyman Service Technicians agree to a criminal background check and depending on the findings understand that this may make them ineligible to provide services for Barry Handy LLC.
